Cake for Monarchs
Marketing case study

With a beautiful lookbook and a story to share with the world, Cake for Monarchs blew us away with their creative vision for men’s clothing from the moment we took our first bite. With nothing more than design concepts, a few samples and a hunger to conquer the luxury men’s clothing market, we built a royal brand presence while simultaneously generating excitement for the line launch. In working directly with head visionary and designer, Sergio Munoz, and his team, we bridged international borders to create a digital representation of the company via a customized website and popular social media outlets. We concurrently developed offline channels by overseeing a lifestyle photo shoot, press opportunities, collateral development and partnerships to create a seamless marketing strategy. Here’s how we created the kingdom.
Digital strategy

Website development
Just like fashion labels have unique looks all their own, so do brands, which need to maintain a consistent, uniform image in order to be successful through multi-level marketing platforms. To create a website fit for a king, we brought in web experts, Baby Steps. We worked closely with the entire team to develop the custom website, including copy, taglines, story, and all other pages as well as social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest). We also led the development and integration of their CRM and irresistible offers, resulting in a 400% increase in web traffic in a one-month period and a 600% increase in page views.

Social media
Once the foundation for the online kingdom was built, we pushed hard in the social and content strategy space, creating bi-weekly keyword-focused blogs to generate organic SEO traffic, developing and executing social advertising campaigns and overseeing daily social platform operations, resulting in a 4,000% increase in Facebook likes within a 4-month period and a 200% increase in Instagram followers within a 3-month period.
Offline Initiatives

Lifestyle photoshoot
While the clothes do speak for themselves with amazing attention to detail and bright pops of color, we needed a way to convey that to those who couldn’t see, touch and be awed by them in person. So in order to close that gap, Elevate My Brand orchestrated a full-scale lifestyle photo shoot, flying in an international model and executing all aspects of pre-production, day-of and post-production, which included location scouting, sourcing and negotiations. Hiring photographer, stylist, hair and makeup team, model. Created a detailed shot list, acquired props, executed the day of production and followed up with all vendors and teams.
After the whirlwind of colorful clothing came to a close, we worked intimately with the photographer and designer to choose which imagery would be selected for the website, social channels, electronic press kit, business cards and other collateral pieces you see today.

Public relations
Elevate My Brand sent out press kits, drafted up press releases and set up meetings with industry experts and influencers, introducing Cake for Monarchs to a development/operations team and sales team, and providing them with several press and partnership opportunities in order to increase visibility for the brand. The results were nothing short of excellent, and included an acquired partnership with the 2014 FIFA World Cup, dressed Azteca Deportes News Anchors, invited to dress News and Sports Anchors for 2015, sponsored boxer Cristian Mijares, placement in The Snob Magazine, secured a MAGIC showcase opportunity and media opportunities with LA Magazine, Thrillist, Esquire and The GRAMMYS.
We like to think we're pretty fashionable. We've worked with plenty of quality fashion brands, so it must be true! How about a swanky new case study to read?
